ATLANTIS
ATLANTIS is our premiere project to produce renewable hydrogen. In 2023, we took over the then world’s largest power-to-eMethane plant in Werlte, Germany. With the existing staff and the know-how to focus the operation on renewable hydrogen as main output. Previously renewable hydrogen used to serve as basis for producing e-Methane, now ATLANTIS predominately produces renewable hydrogen for application in the logistic sector.
Currently holding an electrolysis capacity of 6,3 MW, ATLANTIS will be expanded in the foreseeable future with an additional 5 MW to increase production. In 2018 the plant was upgraded to include a compressor and a filling system that allows the renewable hydrogen to be filled directly into truck trailers with two bays for tanker trucks available.
The name ATLANTIS is derived from the mystical underwater city that is also the stage for an adventure in Jules Verne’s „20,000 leagues under the sea“. The adventurers explore the ancient city with a pioneering spirit, we also had with our venture into active production of renewable hydrogen, gaining experience and know-how that we will apply in our future projects.
